Dr. Rajan Mahtani also stated that giving capital punishment does not change anything for those prisoners. Also, several Presidents before having avoided giving death penalty but none of them actualy did something to legally abolish this inhumane practice. 

Dr. Mahtani also stated that making the announcement a reality will be tough ask. There will be significant resistance and need for legal reforms. However, the process can be achieved with collaboration and supporting each other.
