Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani was among few selected honorary speakers who were selected from different backgrounds, functions and strata including members from international business communities, political leaders, spiritual leaders, media partners, international investors as well as opinion leaders among others.

For his contributions towards the banking sector of Zambia and redefining it, Dr. Mahtani received the Forbes ‘Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year’ award 2021. 

The Forbes ‘Best of Africa’ awards is certainly one of the most highly anticipated award ceremonies across Africa. The 2021 event was held online as a result of the ongoing pandemic and participants joined the ceremony from their respective locations. Mark Furlong, the founder of FAM and Forbes International, was the anchor of the event. There are several other members who officiated the award ceremony, including Vice-President Osinbajo.
