Forbes Connect recently concluded their annual Forbes-FIN philanthropy and leadership roundtable conference across Africa. This event saw participation from noted businessman and philanthropists across the African subcontinent, including Dr. Rajan Mahtani. In the event, Dr. Mahtani was invited as a honorary speaker and discussed about the significance of leadership in healthcare. The event was held online as a result of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and all members participated from their respective locations.

He is known for his significant philanthropic and charitable contributions. Some of his top companies include Mahtani Group of Companies and Finsbury Investments. In a similar manner, Dr. Rajan Mahtani in his more than four decades of experience with Zambian business and economy, has made significant philanthropic and charitable contributions. For instance, Dr. Mahtani founded the Prison Fellowship Zambia for the welfare of the inmates. In a similar manner, Dr. Rajan Mahtani founded the Stephen Malama award and scholarship for top law graduates in Zambia.
